It will be the second warm-up event of Channels: The Australian Video Art Festival, and will be a fascinating look at the very early days of portable video technology.
Lots of resonances with the present era, citizen journalism, online/video convergences – the re-democratisation of video.
We will be screening sessions recorded at the symposium in New York city, as well as doing a live panel and Q&A with local filmmakers and artist.
